MURALIDARAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.15657 of 2017 IN CRL RC.1554/2017 S.SIVARAJ [ PETITIONER/APPELLANT] Vs K.KALAISELVI, [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.RC.1554 of 2017 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to stay the operation of the order dated 31.10.2017 passed in Crl.Appeal No.7 of 2016 on the file of the District and Sessions Judge, Nagapattinam and confirming the order dated 10.06.2016 passed in C.M.P.No.7098/2015 in M.C.No.29/2015 pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Sirkali directing the petitioner to pay the maintenance amount of sum of Rs.15,000/- to the respondent pending disposal of the above CRL.RC.1554/2017.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.RC.NO.1554 of 2017 On the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.E.NARAYANAN, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:- As per order of this 'Court dated 19.12.2017, the petitioner has deposited 50% of the arrears to the credit of M.C.No.29 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sirkali and to that effect, the petitioner also produced the copy of a payment receipt before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sirkali.

2. In view of the above, stay granted by this court dated 19.12.2017 is made absolute.
