Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider my application dated 09.03.2020 to make appropriate entry in revenue records (A-register, Chitta) with regard to the land in Survey No.103/2, 105/1 at Parigam Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District within the time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 09.03.2020 and to make entry in the Chitta, Adangal and A-register within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that, the property was vested with the petitioner through a settlement patta issued by the Government on 08.01.1988. According to the petitioner, he is carrying on with agricultural activities in the said property. The petitioner wanted his name to be recorded in the Chitta, Adangal and A-register. The petitioner gave a representation in this regard on 09.03.2020. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

seeking for appropriate direction.

3.Heard Mr.V.Gunasekar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 09.03.2020, which was forwarded to the second respondent by the first respondent and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass orders/make necessary entries in the Revenue Records within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 09.03.2020 and all other relevant documents and also a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
