ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) On 20.04.2016, the following order was passed when the matter was listed under the category of old cases:- "The learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has been engaged recently.
We may notice that the petitioner is a journalist, who seeks to raise the issue in the present petition about the alleged irregularities committed by the officials of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board on account of having read the book written by an Author.
The matter to remain on the Board."
2. On 27.04.2016, the matter was directed to remain on the Board.
3. Today none is present for the petitioner.
4. We have already noticed that the basis of the petition is the book written by an Author, which hardly call for public interest litigation on the issue.
5. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
6. Later on Mr.P.Vijendran, learned counsel appeared for the petitioner stating he has now been instructed and was appraised of the order.
