O R D E R

Seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 3 to provide Police Protection to the petitioner industry situated at No.501, Vandalur-Kelambakkam Main Road, Mambakkam Village, Chennai, this petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is a manufacturing unit and their factory is located within the jurisdiction of the respondents 1 to 3. There appears to be labour unrest on account of which, the day-to-day activities of the petitioner's factory seems to be affected.

4. Under such circumstances, this Court directs respondents 1 to 3 to put police in and around the factory of the petitioner, so that no untoward incident takes place in order to maintain law and order.
