Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records culminating in Na.Ka.B4/11601/2017 dated 28.04.2018 passed by the first respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the third and fourth respondents to erect the high tension power transmission towers in the alternative Route No.2 reported by the second respondent

herein without causing any kind of disturbance to the petitioner's land in S.No.174/2A of Thagarakuppam Village, Walaja Taluk, Vellore.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the third and fourth respondents submitted that the work has been completed as early as on 18.06.2018 and the TANTRANSCO has also issued two letters to the petitioner to collect the compensation. According to the learned counsels, the petitioner refused to accept the notices.

2. In view of the subsequent development, nothing survives in this writ petition except giving liberty to the petitioner to workout their remedy insofar as the compensation is concerned. Accordingly the writ petition is closed.
