This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to transfer the complaint dated 12.07.2016 from the file of the 5th respondent to the Central Crime Branch, Chennai, for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proper investigation and appropriate action from the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and perused the materials placed on record.

3. In this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 12.07.2013 to the Assistant Engineer, TNEB and has marked a copy to the 5th respondent Police. The dispute essentially appears to be with regard to obtaining electricity connection. The complaint does not disclose commission of cognizable offence for the respondent Police to register an FIR.
