Respondent (Impleaded as per order of this Court dt: 31.07.2015 in M.P.No.3 of 2015 in W.P.No.20960/2015) Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and enable him to carry on the temple management including performance of daily Poojas.

O R D E R
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent and also Mr.M.L. Mahendran, Government Advocate appearing for H.R.& C.E.,
2. It is seen that the H.R.& C.E. has taken over the temple management and has appointed a fit person. Pursuant to the injunction granted by this Court on 16.07.2015, the Poojas have been performed by the petitioner. After the take over by the H.R.& C.E. authorities, a fit person has been appointed to conduct 'Aadi' Festival and the 'Aadi' Festival was conducted by the authorities from 24.07.2015 to 26.07.2015.
3. In the light of the fact that H.R.& C.E. has taken over the temple, the prayer as made in the writ petition cannot be granted. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum if, he is aggrieved.
4. In the result, the injunction granted is hereby vacated and this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in a manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
