Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Declaration to declare the non-selection of the Petitioner to the cadre of Divisional Manager by way of promotion along with other Assistant Divisional Managers who were promoted to the cadre of Divisional Managers vide the Orders of the 3rd Respondent Per/Admn 16-17/PO 6 dated 20/04/2016 is arbitrary, biased, illegal, against the Staff Regulations and the periodical
existing guidelines of Life Insurance Corporation of India and in violation of Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and against the principles of natural justice and rule of law and consequently direct the Petitioner to be promoted to the cadre of Divisional Manager effective from 17.04.2014, the date on which the 1st batch of 2008 Assistant Divisional Managers were first promoted to the cadre of Divisional Managers.
