The petitioner, who had been arrayed as accused was granted anticipatory bail on pre-condition to report before the Investigation Officer daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders. Seeking relaxation of the said condition the petitioner had filed a petition in Crl.MP. No. 373 of 2018, which came to be dismissed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai on 09.01.2018. Seeking to modify the same, the present petition has been filed.
2.Heard both sides.
3. Mr.N.P. Kumar, learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions submitted that the petitioner's presence before the respondent police is required for one more week.
4.Considering the submission made by the learned Special Public Prosecutor, the condition imposed in order dated 20.12.2017 passed in Crl.MP.No.20000 of 2017 insofar as it relates to petitioner's appearance before the Investigation Officer concerned daily shall stand modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigation Officer one https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
week from today at 10.30. a.m. and thereafter as and when required.
With the above observations, the criminal original petition stands allowed.
