Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the third respondent's R.O.C.No.37868-A/2023/F2 dated 12.04.2023 and quash the same and subsequently to direct the second respondent to issue to practical/experience based on the cases which is filed before the Hon'ble High Court Madras and the last date for applying the judiciary exams is 15.04.2023.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.P.Saravanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Vijay, learned counsel for the respondents.

2. The dispute was about the eligibility of the petitioner to appear for the District Judge's examination in the Puducherry Judicial Service.

4. A Division Bench of this Court under order dated 25.05.2023 permitted the petitioner to appear for the examination to be held on 10.06.2023. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner

appeared for the examination on 10.06.2023.

5. Learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the petitioner could not clear the preliminary examination, as he has not secured the minimum marks.

6. As the petitioner has not cleared the preliminary examination by securing the minimum marks, further consideration of the case of the petitioner would be futile.

7. In the light of that, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.11584 and 11586 of 2023 are closed.
