ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to quash the FIR in Crime No.1025 of 2012 on the file of the respondent Police, C-1, Police Station, Sriperumpudur, Kancheepuram District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report has already been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumpudur on 03.01.2013 itself and the same has not been taken cognizance.

3. In view of the above development, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the FIR in Crime No.1025 of 2012 and there shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumpudur to immediately take the final report on file and apply its judicial mind regarding taking cognizance of the final report. This process shall be completed within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. In the result, Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
