ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 1st respondent herein to consider the representation dated 02.08.2016 and to change the name in the property tax register in favour of the petitioner and four others in connection with the property bearing S.No.1791 measuring an extent of 6752 sq.ft. in St. Patricks Church Road Parangimalai Village, Alandur Taluk (Formerly Tambaram Taluk), Kanchipuram District covered by Patta No.701. 2.

On perusal of the counter and on hearing the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent, revealed that the petitioner is not the owner of the subject property bearing S.No.1791 measuring an extent of 6752 sq.ft. in St. Patricks Church Road 2/4

Parangimalai Village, Alandur Taluk (Formerly Tambaram Taluk), Kanchipuram District covered by Patta No.701. That apart, the same request made by the petitioner was rejected by this Court in WP.No.31740 of 2015, which was dismissed on 23.08.2024. 3.

In view of the above, this writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
