ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to register the sale deed presented by the petitioner for registration based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2026.
2. Admittedly, the petitioner has not presented the sale deed till date for registration. Only if the sale deed is presented, the third respondent will be in a position to take a decision as to whether the said deed can be registered or not.
3. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and submits that in case the third respondent refuses to register the sale deed for registration, the third respondent shall issue a refusal check slip assigning reasons for such refusal.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to present the sale deed for registration with the third respondent, and the third respondent is directed to receive the same and take a final decision as to whether the said sale deed presented by the petitioner can be registered or not, within a period of four weeks from the date of presentation of the sale deed by the petitioner for registration. In case, the third respondent decides to refuse registration, the third respondent is directed to issue a refusal check slip
assigning reasons as to why the sale deed presented by the petitioner cannot be registered. No Costs.
