This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 07.01.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Ms.R.Varalakshmi, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is relying upon the sale deed dated 08.04.2021 and also the patta issued in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.1641 with respect to the subject property. The petitioner submitted an application on 07.01.2025 by paying necessary charges seeking for survey. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate direction.

4. Taking into consideration and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 07.01.2025 and conduct the 2/4

survey in the subject property based on the title deed and the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any rival claims, the survey shall be conducted in their presence.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
