ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.08.2008 and 23.02.2009 and to stop the illegal sand quarrying in Villupuram District.

2. The learned Advocate General, on instruction states that the quarrying activities have already been closed on 12.10.2013 in Kandarakottai, Andhili, Karadipakkam and Parankiyur in Villupuram District.

3. In view of the aforesaid, no further directions are required and the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous Petition is closed.
