Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent.

2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme (Aadal & Padal programme) at Arulmighu sri Thiropathi Amman Temple, S.Ogaiur Post, Kallakurichi Taluk and Villupuram District scheduled to be held on 23.06.2017 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2017.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 09.06.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 23.06.2017, the respondent has not passed orders till today.

4.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner therein and dispose of the same.

5.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 19.06.2017.

With this observationop, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
