[ RESPONDENT ] Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner appeal dated 6.6.2015 preferred against the order of the District Manager dated 29.5.2015 thereby directing the respondent to dispose off the appeal in time period. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner was dismissed from service on 29.05.2015. According to the petitioner, as against the order of dismissal, he preferred an appeal on 06.06.2015 to the respondent herein. Since no order has been so far passed, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition.

3.In view of the limited scope of the prayer made by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the appeal submitted by the petitioner dated 06.06.2015, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
