Petition filed under section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2014 and thereby direct the respondents police 1 and 2 to grant adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members and also to the petitioner's property situated at No.6/A, P.V.K.Street, Karai, Ranipet, Wallajah Taluk, Vellore District.

Heard Mr.M.V.Muralidaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.
2.Petitioner seeks issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2014 and to grant adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members and also to the petitioner's property situated at No.6/A, P.V.K.Street, Karai, Ranipet, Wallajah Taluk, Vellore District.
3.According to the petitioner, private respondents filed a suit in O.S.No.50 of 2009 against the petitioner before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Ranipet, Vellore District for declaration and permanent injunction and it is stated that the suit was dismissed by the Trial Court by judgment and decree dated 13.09.2011. The petitioner alleges that with the help of certain political persons and other henchmen, the private respondents attempted to interfere with the petitioner's property and trespass into the petitioner's property and meted out threat to their life. Therefore, they lodged complaint before the second respondent police which has been acknowledged CSR. Since the second respondent police did not take any action, petitioner submitted the representation to the first respondent namely, Superintendent of Police on 09.12.
2014. It is stated that the representation is also pending. 4.With these facts the petitioner seeks for the aforementioned relief, for which the private respondents have been served and their names are also printed in the cause list. But none appeared for the private respondents.
5.In the light of the fact that the complaint is already been acknowledged by the second respondent, there will be a direction to the second respondent to enquire into the complaint and if the second respondent is satisfied with the threat perception meted to the petitioner is genuine and they are in need of police protection, the same shall be considered and granted in accordance with law. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
