[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the second respondent to initiate proper action on the basis of representation dated 04.06.2016 in pursuance of Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.
2. The Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has advanced his arguments on the basis of the averments made in the petition.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted a copy of the Circular dated 20.10.2017 issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, wherein it has been clearly stated that Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 has already been withdrawn. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the remaining respondents has contended to the effect that with regard to
similar issue, Original Suit No.506 of 2015 has been filed on the file of the Additional District Munsif, Salem and further, representation alleged to have been given by the petitioners has already been disposed of, wherein, it has been specifically directed to go before the Civil Court.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous. In fine, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous without costs.
