O R D E R

This Petition has been filed seeking for direction directing the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to the workers of the petitioners and to their agricultural farm comprised in in Survey No.1/3B situated at Thalanar, Aanaimalai Hills Village, Valparai Taluk, Coimbatore District based on the representation dated 21.07.2020. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that already there is a dispute in respect of cultivating tenancy between the petitioners and the third respondent herein. In this regard, there are so many complaints lodged by the petitioners as well as the counter parties in Crime Numbers.12of 2020 and 13/2020. Even before this, the parties have approached the Sub Court in O.S.No.64 of 2017 on the file of the Sub Court, Pollachi and it is pending. Therefore, the police protection sought for in this petition to the laborers of the petitioners and property cannot be granted. Hence, this petition is devoid of merits and is dismissed. 4.However, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in crime Nos.12/2020 and 13/2020 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
