Writ Petition has been filed, praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records and to set aside the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.M3/1/11833/98, dated 30.10.2001, in so far as the petitioner is concerned and direct the first respondent to allow the petitioner to continue in service till 31.10.2001.

O R D E R

The petitioner has challenged the impugned order of retirement, dated 30.10.2001, in O.A.No.8127 of 2001, before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai, and got interim orders.

2. After abolition of the said Tribunal, the O.A.was transferred to this Court and re-numbered as W.P.No.4544 of 2007, which is the present writ petition, and is listed today for hearing.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on account of the interim order, the main relief sought for by the petitioner got worked out and hence nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

5. In the light of the above development, this Court is of the view, that nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition, as on today. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed, for having become infructuous. No costs.
