This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register FIR and investigate the petitioner's complaint dated 19.08.2015.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. On a reading of the complaint, it appears that the opposite party has received some amount by promising to sell his house. In case of this nature, only a civil suit will lie. Hence, no positive direction can be given to the respondent police to register FIR and the petition is closed with liberty given to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
