Prayer: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to extend the time of the order dated 02.07.2020 made in Crl.O.P.No.9230 of 2020 that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) along with two sureties each before the learned Magistrate concerned on or before ..07.2020. For Petitioner : Mr.Karan and Uday For Respondent : Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the time of the order dated 02.07.2020 made in Crl.O.P.No.9230 of 2020 that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) along with two sureties each before the learned Magistrate.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner surrendered on 29.07.2020 and the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Tirupattur has informed the petitioner that the time period is expired on 17.07.2020 and hence disclosed the execution of sureties on the same day and thereby he was unable to comply with the condition within the time limit. Hence, he seeks extension of time.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner this petition is ordered and the time is extended for further period of two weeks after lifting of lockdown or the commencement of the Court's normal functioning whichever is earlier, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Tirupattur, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed automatically.
