This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner, based on her complaint dated 11.11.2018. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner's husband died on 09.11.2017 leaving behind his wife and two daughters and a son as legal heirs. All her children were married and her son is working in Military. While so, after the death of the petitioner's husband, the petitioner's elder daughter and her husband and the petitioner's daughter-in-law are threatening the petitioner to settle the house property on their favour. He further submitted that now the petitioner residing in her relatives house apprehending life threat. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the 3rd respondent dated 11.11.2018. Since, no action has been taken, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard both sides.

4. It is seen that there is a dispute between the petitioner and her own daughter. In this regard, she lodged a complaint on 18.03.2019. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on petitioner's complaint dated 18.03.2019 along with the counter part after giving due opportunities and to pass orders on merits in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
