Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the representations dated 01.06.2016 and 10.09.2016, within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representations, dated 01.06.2016 and 10.09.2016, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.

4. Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and pass orders in accordance with law, within eight weeks' time.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 01.06.2016 and 10.09.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
