Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the third respondent dated 20.04.2022 in C.M.P.No.4/Black Marketer/Salem City/2022 against the petitioner's son Senthilmurugan S/o.Chidambaram, aged 32 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Salem and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

[Made by RMT. TEEKAA RAMAN, J.] The petitioner is the mother of the detenu viz., Senthilmurugan S/o.Chidambaram, aged 32 years. The detenu has been detained by the third respondent by his order in C.M.P.No.4/Black Marketer/Salem City/2022 dated 20.04.2022, holding him to be a "Black Marketer", as contemplated under the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 [Central Act 7 of 1980]. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition. 2/4

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in C.M.P.No.4/Black Marketer/Salem City/2022 dated 20.04.2022, on the file of the third respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.179, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department, dated 16.05.2022 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
