This writ petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned proceedings of the second respondent MD/TWAD Letter No:C2/EE/HO/24663/2019/DT 13.12.2019 relating to tentative promotion List for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer drawn from the feeder post of Assistant Engineers and quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to draw fresh promotion list among the Assistant Engineers applying the inter-se seniority ratio of 1:2 among direct recruits and promotees.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel Page No.2 of 5

appearing for the second respondent/TWAD Board submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court in W.P.(MD)Nos.9646 and 9291 of 2021 dated 15.03.2022, the second respondent/TWAD Board has withdrawn the notification on 17.09.2021.

3. In view of the above said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent/TWAD Board, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
