Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 23.04.2022 in C3/D.O.No.45/2022 against the petitioner's husband Anandhan @ Andhoni S/o.Doss, aged 25 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

[Made by RMT. TEEKAA RAMAN, J.] The petitioner is the wife of the detenu viz., Anandhan @ Andhoni S/o.Doss, aged 25 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in C3/D.O.No.45/2022 dated 23.04.2022, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in C3/D.O.No.45/2022 dated 23.04.2022, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.3220, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 30.05.2022 and produced a copy of the said order. In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
