ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.NIRMAL KUMAR, J.] Captioned Habeas Corpus Petition ['HCP'] has been filed in this Court on 02.05.2022 assailing an order of detention dated 20.04.2022 bearing reference C.M.P.No.5/Black Marketer/Salem City/2022 [hereinafter referred as 'impugned detention order' for the sake of convenience and clarity] made by the third respondent i.e. jurisdictional Commissioner of Police [hereinafter referred as 'detaining authority' for the sake of convenience and clarity]. To be noted the fifth respondent who is the jurisdictional Inspector of Police is the Sponsoring authority.

2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked, by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.180 Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection [E1] Department dated 16.05.2022 and a copy of the same is submitted, wherein, it is clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has been revoked. 3.Considering the above said factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
