O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to quash the proceedings in D.V.A.No.17 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-VII, Coimbatore.

2. When the matter was called today, Mr.A.Thiyagarajan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that he has no objection if the proceedings as against the petitioner / 2nd accused is quashed.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the proceedings in D.V.A.No.17 of 2017 insofar as it relates to the petitioner / 2nd accused is concerned stands quashed. Consequently, it would be open to the learned Judicial Magistrate-VII, Coimbatore to proceed against the other accused in the manner, known to law.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
