The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 224 days in filing the Appeal against the judgment passed in the learned Sessions Judge for Exclusive trial of cases under POCSO Act, Villupuram in Special Sessions Case No.13 of 2019 dated 23.06.2022.

2. Though notice was served and the name of the respondent was printed in the cause list, he has not entered appearance either in person or through counsel.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
