W.M.P.No.13239 of 2021 in SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY J., This petition is filed for amendment of the cause title in W.P.No.11978 of 2021.

2. It is stated on behalf of the Petitioner that the second Respondent was wrongly described in the writ petition as Superintending Engineer, TANGEDCO, Mettur Electricity Distribution Circle, Mettur Dam instead of the Superintending Engineer, TANGEDCO, Erode Electricity Distribution Circle, Erode. Consequently, the second Respondent is also described erroneously in the order dated 19.05.2021 whereby W.P.No.11978 of 2021 was disposed of.

3. Learned Standing counsel for TANGEDCO has no objection to the petition being allowed.

4. Upon considering the submission of learned counsel and on examining the affidavit, I find that a clerical error has resulted in the wrong description of the second Respondent. Accordingly, the petition is allowed and the Registry is directed to amend the cause title as follows: "The Superintending Engineer, TANGEDCO, Erode Electricity Distribution Circle, Erode."

Instead of "The Superintending Engineer, TANGEDCO, Mettur Electricity Distribution Circle, Mettur Dam."

5. Upon amending the cause title as indicated above, the Registry is directed to re-issue the order dated 19.05.2021 in W.P.No.11978 of 2021 by duly incorporating the aforesaid amendment therein. 11.06.2021 Note:

Registry is directed to issue order copy on or before 15.06.2021.
