O R D E R

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Section 8(c), 22 (b) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1958 in Crime No.137 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was involved in illegal possession of 9.66 grams of commercial quantity.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has illegally possessed 9.66 grams of commercial quantity and hence he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.This Court is of the opinion that these type of cases are impacting large Magnitude and the petitioner is misusing the discretionary of this Court and continues with the offences affecting the environment and ecology.
