Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition, for a mandamus, directing the respondent to effect the change in the Marriage Certificate vide M.C.No.1628/2013 in Serial No.584/2013, registered on the file of Sub Registrar Office, Sembium, Chennai, pertaining to her date of birth as 15.06.1989 instead of 15.05.1989.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 06.08.2018 to the respondent, to correct the error inadvertently occurred in the Marriage Certificate. The same was not considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent is ready to consider the representation of the petitioner, if the petitioner is able to produce the birth certificate to establish her claim.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2018, based on the production of the Birth Certificate, by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
