DECREE: This Appeal coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the grounds of appeal, the Judgment and Decree of the Trial Court and the material papers in the suit and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R. Natarajan, Advocate for the Appellant and M/s.N. Mala, AGP(P) for the Respondent, while allowing this Appeal, this Court doth order and decree as follows:

1. That the compensation determined by the Court below be and hereby is modified from the market value at the rate of Rs.63,095/-(Rupees Sixty Three Thousand and Ninety five only) per acre to Rs. 76,022 (Rupees Seventy Six Thousand and Twenty Two) per acre.

2. That the Claimants be and hereby are entitled to statutory benefits of 30% solatium in addition to the Additional interest as contemplated under Section 23(1)(A) of the Act and interest at 9% for the first one year after taking possession and 15% after the first one year of taking possession. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. That there be no costs in this Appeal.
