PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I at Kancheepuram to dispose of the C.C.No.151 of 2019 within a stipulated period in accordance with law.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed directing the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I at Kancheepuram to dispose of the C.C.No.151 of 2019 within a stipulated period in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the case is pending from the year 2019 in C.C.No.151 of 2019, not even a single witness is examined so far. Therefore, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the witnesses are to be produced for future hearings.

4. In the light of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and the fact that not even a single witness is examined in this case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kancheepuram to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy

of this order.
