This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to appoint an investigating Officer for Crime No.795 of 2023 and file a final report within a stipulated time frame ensuring due compliance with the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the accused had already filed a petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2945 of 2025 seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.795 of 2023 and that this Court, by an order dated 15.02.2024 in Crl.M.P.No.2150 of 2024 in Crl.O.P.No.2945 of 2024, has stayed all further proceedings in Crime No.795 of 2023, on the file of the first respondent.
3. In view of the interim order passed by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.2150 of 2024 in Crl.O.P.No.2945 of 2024, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
