ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents has filed a status report on 14.03.2026, in which it is stated as follows:

" 5. In compliance of the above order, a land survey was conducted on 12.11.2024 in the relevant survey numbers. During the survey, it was found that encroachments were identified only in four (4) survey numbers and the said encroachments were made by Ten

(10) persons."

2. In view of the aforesaid, the order is fully complied with and thereafter proceedings were initiated under the Land Encroachment Act. Being aggrieved, some of the encroachers have filed appeals, which were also dismissed. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this Contempt Petition and accordingly the same is closed.
