ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents herein to survey the property of the petitioner admeasuring 04 sq.mts. comprised in Old Survey No.99/1 and New Survey No.177/15B, Chozhavaram, Tiruvallur District and fix boundary stones by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 21.08.2023.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that originally the land of the petitioner has been acquired by the Highways Department for expansion of the Highways and later the land was once again muted in the name of the petitioner and now kist demand was made in the name of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents to 2/4

survey the property and to fix boundary stones. However, the respondents have not taken any action to survey his land. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 21.08.2023 to survey the land of the petitioner and fix its boundary stones after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
