This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to give police protection to his property. 2.Today, when the matter was called, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) on instructions submitted that in connection with the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2017, seeking protection for surveying his property comprised in Patta No.451, the third respondent herein had given https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
an undertaking that he will not create any obstructions during the process of surveying the subject property. A copy of the undertaking is also produced before this Court by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side).
3. Though notice has been served on the third respondent and the name is also printed in the cause list today, none appears on his behalf. In view of the undertaking given by the third respondent, it would be appropriate to extend necessary protection sought for by the petitioner for surveying his land.
4. In the result, there shall be a direction to the first respondent herein to grant necessary protection to the petitioner's property in S.No.354/12B, Thinnaloore Village, Orathi Firka, Madurantakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District, thereby enabling the petitioner to survey his land. During the course of such survey, the first respondent shall ensure that due opportunity is given to the petitioner as well as the third respondent herein and any other persons who may be interested in the subject property.
5. With the above observation and direction, the Criminal Original petition stands allowed.
