By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be one of the organisers of the Temple Festival relating to "Sri Mariyamman Temple", Konappattu (PO), Natrampalli, Thiruppathur Taluk, Vellore District. The petitioner submitted an application dated 08.07.2015, to the respondent seeking permission to conduct village folk dance and other cultural programmes on 15.07.2015 at the said temple and since no orders came to be passed, he filed this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Vijendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the programme will be conducted in a peaceful manner without creating any law and order problem and they will not perform any obscene dance or any obscenity in the song and dance programme. The learned counsel hence prays for appropriate orders.

5. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer made in this writ petition, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 08.07.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 15.07.2015 and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
