This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 1st respondent to select the petitioners who belong to SC Category and secured 96.432902 marks in the written examination conducted by the 1st Respondent as PG Assistant in Mathematics pursuant to Notification No.01 / 2021 dated 09.09.2021 against the 5 pending vacancies in the post of PG Assistant in Mathematics as per the proceedings of the 1st Respondent having Ref.No. Na.Ka. No 6788 / F2 / S1 /2022 dated 05.03.2024.

As per the notification No.1 of 2021, applications were invited to fill up the post of PG Assistant in various subjects. The petitioner had applied for the post of PG Assistant in Mathematics. The petitioners are coming under SC category. According to the petitioners, they should have been selected against the five pending posts in PG Assistant(Mathematics) based on merit. Therefore, the petitioners submitted representation to accommodate the petitioners in that place. 3.

In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner if the petitioners are coming under the zone of consideration on merits and in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
