O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass and threaten the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitionersand the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the first petitioner's wife had died, in connection with which, a case in Crime No.1525 of 2015 under Section 174 Cr.P.C., was altered to 302, 308 of IPC against the same persons. In the meantime, the mother of the deceased has lodged a complaint that, the petitioner is not returning the "seethana articles" and therefore, the Police are calling the petitioners for enquiry. 4.Under such circumstances, no blanket order of not to harass can be passed. If the petitioners are wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, they can very well be summoned by the respondent police and while doing so, the petitioners shall not be harassed. At the same time, the petitioners should submit themselves https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the respondent for interrogation and enquiry. It is made clear that this order will not shield, if the petitioners are involved in cognizable offence.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
