Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give permission to conduct the dance programme on 29.07.2015 in the event of Sri Kaliamman Thirukoil of Anumandhai Village, Villupuram District.

2. The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of Sri Kaliamman Thirukoil of Anumandhai Village, Villupuram District. The petitioner submitted an application dated 01.07.2015, to the second respondent seeking permission to conduct village folk dance and other cultural programmes on 29.07.2015 at the said temple and since no orders came to be passed, he filed this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Selvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the programme will be conducted in a peaceful manner without creating any law and order problem and they will not perform any obscene dance or any obscenity in the song and dance programme. 4. This Court heard the submission of Mr.N.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice for the respondents.
5. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer made in this writ petition, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 27.07.2015 and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
