By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of "Sri Mariamman Thirukoil", Kongankottai Village, Solaikottai Post, Dharmapuri Taluk and District. The petitioner submitted an application dated 05.07.2015, to the second respondent seeking permission to conduct village folk dance and other cultural programmes on 22.07.2015 at the said temple and since no orders came to be passed, he filed this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Selvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the programme will be conducted in a peaceful manner without creating any law and order problem and they will not perform any obscene dance or any obscenity in the song and dance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
programme. The learned counsel hence prays for appropriate orders.
4. This Court heard the submission of Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice for the respondents.
5. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer made in this writ petition, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 05.07.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 20.07.2015 and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
