Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the proceedings of the third respondent dated 29.01.2026 in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.5149/2023/ and further communication issued by the fourth respondent dated 12.03.2026 by vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1SB-13/1435 and to quash the same.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the proceedings of the third respondent dated 29.01.2026 in Se.Mu.Na.Ka. No.5149/2023/ and further communication issued by the fourth respondent dated 12.03.2026 by vide proceedings in Na.Ka. No.1SB-13/1435 and to quash the same.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted 2/6
that A/m.Ramalinga Sowdeshwari Amman and A/m.Kothanda Ramar Temples situated in Sirumugaipudur, Sirumugai Village, Mettupalayam Taluk, Coimbatore District were founded and constructed by Devanga Chettiyar Community people and have been taken care by the people from the said community. The learned counsel further submitted that to have effective and best administration of the Temple, an executive Committee was formed from the members of the said community and the Committee is in administration of the said Temple since 1997 and the petitioner was nominated as President and nearly 14 members from the community is nominated in several posts and they filed application under Section 64(1) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act before Joint Commissioner, Coimbatore in O.A.No.19 of 2025 and the same is pending.
Whileso, the impugned order was passed appointing Fit Person to the said Temple. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submitted that this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the second respondent to dispose O.A.No.19 of 2025 within a reasonable time frame and issue direction to the third respondent to revisit the impugned order dated 29.01.2026 after disposal of O.A.No.19 of 2025.

5.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that O.A.No.19 of 2025 will be disposed of by the second respondent within a reasonable time frame. 6.In view of the above, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of O.A.No.19 of 2025, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent is directed to revisit the impugned order dated 29.01.2026 after disposal of O.A.No.19 of 2025.
7.The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
