O.P.No.360 of 2022 O.P.No.360 of 2022 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J., The Original Petition filed under Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925, seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the amounts lying in the Post Office at Perambur in the name of Rajeswari Ganesan, the mother of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd petitioners and mother-in-law of the 4th petitioner and grandmother of the 5th petitioner, who died intestate on 10.08.2020.
2. The petitioners are the only class-I legal heirs. The husband of the deceased, S.Ganesan died on 05.10.2015.
3. After following due procedure, the petitioners were invited to tender evidence.
4. The 3rd petitioner R.Suganthi examined herself as P.W.1. The Death Certificate of Rajeswari Ganesan and the Legal Heirship Certificate were marked as Exs.P1 and P2. The Death Certificate of S.Ganesan, father of the petitioners 1 to 3 was marked as Ex.P3. The Death Certificate of the Kumar Ganesan, late husband of the 4th petitioner and father of the 5th petitioner was marked as Ex.P4 and the Legal Heirship Certificate of G.Kumar was marked as Ex.P5. The details relating to the Post Office savings Bank Account was marked as Ex.P6.
