ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2023 regarding the alignment of the proposed Road-Over-Bridge (RoB) at Railway Level Crossing LC-49 on the existing road (ODR) under control and maintenance of the Respondent at Sothuapakkam Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.

2. Though none appeared on behalf of the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that in the present case, the petitioner had agreed for alignment of the road and subsequently, a sale deed was entered through private negotiation and, the same was registered and compensation has also been paid therefore, that is the reason, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 09-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order KKN
