This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.08.2015 in CSR.No.390 of 2015 .

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On reading of the complaint, it appears that there was business transaction between the petitioner and the opposite party, in which, a dispute arose and that the opposite party has also admittedly given a cheque which had bounced. In order to give a criminal colour to a civil dispute, the petitioner has included allegation of criminal intimidation.

4. Hence, no positive direction can be issued to the police to register FIR and therefore, this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy, in the manner known to law.
