Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the Judicial Magistrate Court II, Thiruvallur to set aside the order dated 10.09.2013 in FIR No.1576 of 2011 and reopen the FIR within stipulated period.
For Petitioner : Mr.J.Srinivasan For Respondent : Mr.C.Raghavan Government Advocate
O R D E R
On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.1576 of 2011 was registered on 22.08.2011, under Sections 279, 337 of IPC. On the failure of the police to file a charge sheet within three years, the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Thiruvallur closed the case on 10.09.2013. Challenging the said order, the petitioner is before this Court in the Year 2018.
2. Mr.J.Srinivasan, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, the injuries suffered by the petitioner have gone un-addressed on the failure of the Police to file a charge sheet and therefore, this Court should intervene and set aside the said order.

3. It is seen that the closure report is of the year 2013 and we are now in the year 2018. That apart, bearing in mind the nature of the allegations in the FIR, it will not be appropriate for this Court, at this distant point of time to set aside the order dated 10.09.2013.
4. Hence, this petition is closed.
